Family Tracing Service / Missing Persons Bureau
Illustration med tre pusselbitar och texten The Salvation Army, Missing personsBackground

The Salvation Army Family Tracing / Missing Persons was established already 1885 in London, UK. From the beginning we have tried to help people search for their missing relatives in all countries where the Salvation Army serve. Sometimes we can also help tracing friends.

Primary mission

Our primary mission is to try and locate, reunite and reconcile family members whom you have lost contact with or never met. In Sweden we also accept cases concerning friends if there is sufficient information available.

International praxis

According to our international praxis any research should be registered in the country where you live, even if the research concerns another country. So, if you are living outside Sweden we ask that you first contact the Salvation Army in your country. However, if you are living in Sweden or in a country where the Salvation Army do not work, you are welcome to direct your request to us at: eftersokning@fralsningsarmen.se

Required information

When you contact us, please write down:

  • your full name, address and email
  • all information you have concerning the missing person and his/her closest family
  • when and where you had the last contact with the missing person and, where appropriated, why contact ceased.

If you do not know how to contact the Salvation Army in your country, write to us and we will try to help you!
